Pi Alpha Alpha Honors Joel Clement — Joel Clement, a climate science and policy consultant and former director of the Office of Policy Analysis at the U.S. Department of the Interior, was recently honored with a membership in the MPA Honor Society in Public Administration, Pi Alpha Alpha, after hosting a panel discussion on ethics in public service. The society, along with the City of Edmond Forestry Commission, will plant a pinnacle oak tree in Mitch Park this fall in honor of Clement.

Oklahoma Teacher’s Retirement Informational, June 14

Learn the benefits of joining the Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System (OTRS) at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, in the Virginia Lamb Living Room, Human Environmental Sciences. All permanent employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to participate, but they are only able to enroll once a year.

Employee contributions are now spread over the entire fiscal year. Biweekly employees contribute $26.93 per paycheck and monthly employees contribute $58.34 per paycheck. UCO contributes to each employee's OTRS account. Part-time employees contribute 7 percent of each paycheck until $700 is reached.

Complete the OTRS enrollment form and submit to UCO Benefits no later than Monday, June 18, through campus mail (Box 171) or in person in Rooms 204 or 212, Administration.
